Installed the modified radio/transponder sub panel. Modified the support bracket for the rear of the radio.
Made a bracket out of some 3/4" channel and mounted the altitude encoder on the lower right side below the transponder. The bracked is riveted to the fuselage within the shape of the leading edge rib so the rivelts won't be visible with the wing completed. The encoder attaches to the bracket with 2-lug anchor nuts. I would prefer the encoder not be visible, but I figured it needed to be accessible for periodic adjustment if required. The adjusting screws are on the cockpit face. I could have remotely mounted it, like behind the seat, but that would require running a lot of wire and static tubing along the side of the fuselage.
Ordered some Molex pins from Digi-Key for a 16 pin connector I'll use on the CHT/EGT probes to the Westach 4-position switch.
